Roscommon County Council is set to close a section of the County Home Road (L1812) in Roscommon town for most of April in order to facilitate essential repairs along the River Jiggy.
The section in question is from the Railway Crossing to the junction with the L1814 (Ballinagard Road). The closure will come into effect at 6am on Monday April 3rd and will remain in place until 5pm on Friday April 28th.
Traffic travelling north on the L1812 (towards the town) will be diverted left onto the Ballinagard road (L1814) and then right at it’s junction with the N63 Athleague – Roscommon Road.
Traffic travelling south to Scrine Cross will be directed to the N63 Athleague Road, and then diverted left onto the Ballinagard road (L1814) and then right at it’s junction with the L1812.
