Our Junior men’s team won their opening Division 5 match against Kilglass Gaels on Friday in Kilbride. Kilbride winning on a scoreline of 3-09 to 2-07.
Kilbride came out on top our U16 boys played Western Gaels on Sunday in the wet and windy conditions. They played extremely well but leading by two points with a few minutes to go Western Gaels scored a goal to put them up by a point with time running out. The Kilbride lads didn’t give up however And they managed to win the kickout and go down the pitch and equalise which was the last play of the game. Full time score Kilbride 2-08 Western Gaels 2-08.

Our U14 Boys opened their Division 2 league campaign away to Strokestown on Friday. The match was played in extremely difficult condition but Kilbride battled hard throughout but they were beat by a stronger team. Full time Strokestown 4-15 Kilbride 2-04

Our Minors are scheduled to play Boyle in Kilbride on Sunday at 11am.
Our U 16 girls had a busy weekend with games on Friday and Sunday . The girls came up agaimst a physically stronger side in Kilmore/Elphin in Kilbride on Friday morning and lost on a scoreline of 5-06 to 2-03. However they returned to winning ways on Sunday when they travelled to Four Roads beating them comprehensively on a scoreline of 9-10 to 4-03. Next game is awayto Castlerea next Sunday at 4 p.m.
