U.14 Feile na nGael Competition

There was no luck for the Under 14 team on Saturday last when they were defeated by Oran in the first round of the Feile na nGael competition on the score line of Oran 5-2 Athleague 4-0.
The team are away to Four Roads at 11am in Four Roads. Parents will be forwarded details in relation to same during the week.

Athleague Camogie Membership

Registration for Club members took place on Friday night and Sunday afternoon in Athleague and Castlecoote. Registration for the coming year is €20 for Under 8’s, €35 for U10 to U.18, €55 for students over 18 and €65 for Seniors. There will be further registration on Sunday,26th March 2017 @ 7.00 p.m in Athleague Community Centre. It is important that all players are registered by that date as only players who are registered can be insured. Please also note that Players need to be registered for 3(three days) prior to taking part in competition.

Meeting with Parents of Under Age Players

A meeting of Parents of all Under Age players will take place on Sunday week, 26th March at 7p.m. in Athleague Community Centre.

Congratulations

The Club would like to congratulate Club member, Audrey Delaney and her husband Paddy on the birth of their baby boy in the last week.

The Club would also like to congratulate the County Minor team on their success over Carlow on Saturday last in the All Ireland Minor championship. The team travel to Cavan on Saturday to take on Cavan in the re-scheduled game which was postponed two weeks ago. Five players from the Club are on the panel namely, Eithne and Nora Brennan, Lauryn Flaherty, Rachel Neilan & Maebh Tiernan, whilst Club member, Mary Fleming is part of the Management team.
