The Roscommon GAA Scór Sinsir County Finals take place tomorrow, Saturday March 11th, in the Kilbride Community Centre, and promise to be a great night of entertainment.
Scór Sinsir is specifically for all GAA Club members who are age 17 and over as of the 1st January 2017. Members may represent their Club in at least one of the following eight disciplines: Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music, Recitation, Ballad Group, “Tráth na gCeist”, Drama (Léiriú Stáitse) and Set Dancing. The winners will represent Roscommon GAA in the Connacht Finals.
The Roscommon GAA Scór Sinir “Tráth na gCeist” (Quiz) will be run in a Table Quiz format. Each club is entitled to enter a maximum of two teams to the County Final, which will be held on Friday, March 24th in Hannon’s Hotel, Roscommon town. The winner of the County Final Table Quiz will qualify to represent Roscommon in the All Ireland Final which will be held in The Waterfront Hall, Belfast, in May.
