Tarmonbarry 100km Cycle Challenge

The Annual Cycle Challenge takes place this year on Sunday April 23rd.This is always a popular event, so we look forward to seeing you all on the day! 

Division 5 League: St Barrys 0-5 St Faithleach’s 2-9

Our Junior B team were well beaten by St Faithleach’s in the opening game of the Division 5 league on Sunday. 2 goals before half time for Faithleach’s proved decisive, and in on a heavy pitch,  the Barry’s lads could not make up the deficit in spite of a hardworking second half performance.

Connacht Winners:

Congratulations to James Bennett, Nathan Beirne, & Conor Mulrennan who were part of the Scoil Mhuire, Strokestown senior squad that won the Connacht C final at the weekend. 

This Weekend:

The Under 16 Girls are the latest team to get their season underway, as they travel to Enfield to face St Croans at 4pm on Sunday. Good luck girls. Our Minor lads play Kilbride in Kilbride on Sunday at 11am.

Roscommon U14 Girls:

The Roscommon Under 14 girls play Cavan in Tarmonbarry on Saturday next, March 4th at 10.30am. St Barry’s are represented on the team by Shannon McGuinness and Chloe Rogers.

There was no jackpot winner. Consolation prizes winners were €50 George Diffley and €30 Paddy Mitchell.
