Carrick Golf Club Spring League
Round two of Spring League, played Saturday 11th – Thursday 16 February was won by Group 3 Charlie Farrell & Albert Noone with 47 pts pipping Anthony Noone & Sean Bohan on B9. The overall leaders didn’t change with Group 7 Leo Mulvey, Joey Casey, Pat Conlon & Tommy Flynn out front with 94 points, closely followed by Group 2 Liam Bruen, Paul Reid Kevin Ward & Paul Roche on 93. Round three is in progress at moment, 2Man Shambles. As next Sunday is Captains Drive in Round 4 will commence on Saturday March 4th with Singles, two single scores to count.
Carrick Golf Club Captain’s Drive In
Captain Anthony Noone and the Lady Captain Noeleen Moffatt will drive our golfing year off to a formal start on next Sunday, 26th of February. The Captain’s photo shoot is at 12.30 and the competition gets going with a shotgun start at 1pm. The competition on the day is a nine-hole mixed team scramble. Enter your name on line for draw for teams, draw will take place this Saturday 25th February. Members will be notified by text of their team & tee they are on, please make sure you arrive well before the drive-in to check in and arrive at designated starting tee in plenty of time. Presentation of prizes will take place shortly after the close of the competition.
This is Your Life
On Saturday 4th March one of our members is in for a “This is Your Life” shock, when the club hosts its first running of the popular event “This is Your Life” it will take place in the Clubhouse on Sat 4th March at 8pm. Tickets are on sale from any committee Member at €10 a ticket.
St Patrick’s Weekend Open
