Underage Update

Our U16 girls played Offaly in a challenge last Saturday at 4pm in woodmount (Padraig Pearses).
This was a very worthwhile exercise for the U16 squad with all 30 players featuring.

A big thank you to all who supported our U16 squad table quiz which was held last Saturday evening in Hannon’s Hotel, your support is greatly appreciated and much needed funds raised go to the squad’s expenses.

Our Minor’s played Dublin in a very attractive friendly last Sunday in Dublin.  The rossie girls well in it at half time only trailing by 1-6 to 0-5 but Dublin’s superior fitness and strength saw them pull away well in the second half. Nonetheless this was only our minor’s first outing of the year and will stand to them going forward.

Our U14’s meanwhile play Westmeath in a challenge this Thursday at 7pm, venue not known yet but keep an eye on social media for details.

Fixtures for all inter county teams are now unloaded on the Connacht LGFA website.
