Roscommon Ladies Football Update February 15th

Roscommon Ladies Football
National League Returns:

Our intermediate ladies return to national league action next Sunday when they travel to take on Meath at 2pm in Dunganny, near Trim. The girls already have one victory against Offaly and one defeat to Tipperary.

Underage Update:

The Roscommon Ladies Football U16 squad are running a fun Table Quiz in Hannon’s Hotel, Roscommon on Saturday at 8pm sharp, your support is greatly appreciated. All funds raised go to the squad’s expenses. On Saturday afternoon they play Offaly in a challenge at 4pm in Padraig Pearses, Woodmount.

Our Minor’s play Dublin in a very attractive friendly this Saturday in Dublin.
Our U14’s travelled up to Monaghan on Sunday morning last for a very entertaining challenge against the home team. A very strong and physical home side came out on top in the end but this was a very worthwhile journey for the Roscommon squad.
Fixtures for all inter county teams are now unloaded on the Connacht LGFA website.

Courses:

Our new year courses and seminars are almost complete now, the last of them – for the level 1 “Grab your Whistle” course second part takes place this Saturday 18th in Hannon’s Hotel, Roscommon. Please note that places are limited on these so early booking is advisable. All these details have also been circulated to the clubs and are available on social media.
