Dinner Dance
A brilliant dinner dance took place on Friday night last in the Landmark Hotel, Carrick On Shannon. The club wishes to thank everyone who attended the dinner dance in great numbers and showed your support for the Club for 2017. We congratulate our award winners on the night:
Senior player of the year – John Donohue,
Junior player of the year – Shane Sharkey,
Personality of the year Tommie & Teresa Kenoy and
minor board personality of the year – Olivia Connellan.
Thanks to everyone who sponsored spot prizes on the night including The Landmark Hotel, Joe McEvoy, Carmelita Caslin, Elphin Mart, Bernie & Mary Sheridan and Gay O Dowd. We also thank all our ticket sellers for their work. We thank the Landmark Hotel for an excellent meal and great service on the night. We again congratulate our Intermediate championship winning team who received their medals from Aogan O Fearghail on the night and we wish the team the best of luck for 2017.
Minor Club
Our U-14 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels received their County league medals at a presentation evening on Saturday last in the 4 P’s. Well done to all the panel.
Our minor team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels begin their 2017 campaign against St Ciarans in Mulherin Park, Fuerty this Sunday at 11am. We wish them the best of luck.
Kilmore GAA 50-50 Draw
Our 50/50 draw takes place this Sunday night at 10.30pm in the Arch Bar, Jamestown. Pamela McGaurans team are on selling duty and envelopes are on sale throughout the parish.
Club Meetings
An executive meeting of Kilmore GAA will take place on this Wednesday night the 8th of February 2017 at 9.30pm. A meeting of the finance Committee will take place on the same night at 8.30pm in the Clubrooms.
