Underage Presentations

Our underage medal presentations took place Sunday last in Shamrock Lodge Hotel with a huge crowd in attendance. The club were delighted to welcome Cora Staunton – winner of four All-Irelands and three Ladies’ National Football League titles with Mayo, five All-Ireland Club titles with Carnacon and 10 time All Star winner – as our special guest on the day.
Cora spoke to the vigilant crowd and told our players to continue playing football and to think big. She also told our young players that they will meet their best friends through football and create friends for life.
The presentation took place for U.14 and U.16 boys for their league wins and the U.12, U.14, U.16 and Minor girls for their Championship wins. Congratulations and well done to all teams concerned.

Well done to everyone involved on the day and to new club Chairperson Aiden Brien who addressed the large crowd. Photos are now available on our facebook page to view. Thanks to the Shamrock Lodge for their hospitality as always.
