Kilbride GAA announce Strictly pairs and Management Teams

Foxes Bar was the place to be on Friday night as Kilbride Does Strictly was officially launched.

Master of Ceremonies Eugene Murphy announced the 28 dancers and the eagerly awaited match ups.

The following pairings were announced, Kate Farrell and Jimmy Horan, Joanne Reynolds and Dara Feely, Jackie Comiskey and Paul Naughton, Aine O’Connor and Fergal Fannon, Brenda Feerick and Sean Moylan, Kathy O’Reilly and Frank Beatty, Emma Shally and David Hickey, Laura Casey and Damien Feeney, Louise Conneally and Colm O’Neill, Pamela Donlon and Emmet Corcoran, Theresa Rowe and Paul Clabby, Rochelle Mullaney and Alan Lohan, Thelma Keenan and Tommy Joe Hennigan and Laura McCormack and Thomas Hanley.

The main event takes place on the 10th March in The Kilbride Commmunity Centre when Marty Morrissey will welcome the dancers on stage. Tickets are priced at €20 and will be on sale shortly.

Minor Presentation

A large crowd attended the minor presentation on Sunday. 2016 was a hugely successful year for both our boys and girls teams and the players with all of our panels receiving their medals from special guests Aoife Feely and Seamus O’Neill. Thanks again to all our underage sponsors.

Kilbide GAA Lotto

The lotto draw was held in Foxes Bar on Saturday night. There was no winner of the €3,000 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 3,4, 15 & 30. The five €20 winners drawn were Anthony Glynn, Laura Connell, Ciara Clogher, Olliver McGuinness & Ciara Fallon. The next draw will take place on January 21st when the jackpot will be €3,150.

Management Teams confirmed

Adrian Tully and Albert Looby have been appointed joint managers of the men’s team. John Lally is the new junior manager with Ollie Lennon remaining in charge of the senior ladies team.
