Peter Joe’s Card Game
Peter Joe’s Card game took place on Sunday night last in Brackens, Hillstreet. Well done to the prize winners Shiela O Rourke, Gary Vesey and Cathy Flood. Thanks to Peter Joe & JJ for organising the card game. Thanks to everyone who sold and purchased tickets and thanks to everyone who donated spot prizes on the night and made sandwiches.
Dinner Dance
The annual Kilmore GAA Dinner Dance takes place on Friday the 3rd of February 2017 in the Landmark Hotel, Carrick-On-Shannon. Music on the night will be the brilliant band Late Night Radio. This year the special guest on the night will be president of the GAA Aogan O Fearghail. Tickets will be available very soon for a night not to be missed.
Condolences
The club extends its sympathy to Mary Connellan, Feeragh and the Connellan family on the death of Mary’s mother Bridget Gilligan.
Kilmore GAA AGM
Our Club AGM will take place on Saturday the 7th of January 2017 in the Clubrooms.
End Of The Year
So the curtain comes down on 2016 in what was a very eventful year for the club.
On the pitch we looked to be going out of the championship but in typical Kilmore spirit we never gave up and ended up winning the County final after a replay.We had some super O Rourke Cup results and we look forward to Senior league & Championship in 2017.
Our U-12 team took home the League title honours and our Minor team along with Shannon Gaels took home the championship.
Off the pitch we danced our hearts away in October in what was a night many will never forget.
Unfortunately we lost many good people in our Club and parish during the 2016 and on Sunday the 23rd of October we lost our Club president and good friend Frank Dennehy.
We wish all our players, members and supporters a very happy Christmas and Healthy and Happy 2017.
