AGM
St Faithleachs GAA 54th AGM took place on Sunday evening. Positions ratified were as follows: President; Mickey Kelly, Vice President Frank Curley, Chairman ; Derek Thompson, Secretary ; Alan Brehon, Assistant Secretary ; Michael Cleary, Treasurer ; Brenda Reynolds, P.R.O.; Nicola Byrne, Health and Well-being Officer ; Brendan Healy, Irish Language Officer ; Monica Connaughton, Children’s Officer ; James Quigley, Player Rep; Darragh Hussey, Ladies Secretary; Qona Cox, Register; Caroline Connaughton. Also ratified to the Club Executive were David Harrison, Aidan Dooney and Stephen Ormsby.

Club Secretary Alan Brehon gave a comprehensive report on all club activities both on and off the field, and Club Treasurer Sean Cox went through the Club accounts in detail. The Chairman Derek Thompson praised all teams throughout the season, thanked all who contributed throughout the year and outlined the importance of all the volunteers who put so much effort into the club . He also stressed that the continuing development of club grounds was paramount.
He went on to wish the Senior management team of Gareth Johnston, Damien Rooney and Vinnie Glennon all the best of the coming year. We would like to take this opportunity to wish all out going club officers the very best and thank them for their hard work and service to the Club.
We look forward to 2017 and hopefully continue to provide a club that all members and players are encouraged, safe, and secure in and that are proud of.

Santa Visit
Santa will be arriving at the Club house on Sunday 18th at 4pm for all our younger members. It’s a fantastic for all and one not to be missed. More details will be available on our Facebook and Twitter pages in the next week.

Cards
Take place every Tuesday evening in the clubhouse. Last week’s
joint winners; M.Finan /M.Rodger’s, Tom/Padraig, last game Gemma /Freda.

Christmas Draw
Lines are now available for our Christmas draw which takes place on St.Stephens Night in the clubhouse. Lines are €2 and available from local retailers,Senior and Junior Ladies players, club secretary and/or in the clubhouse. All proceeds are towards the development of the new stand.

St Faithleachs GAA Lotto
Team in charge for next week are; Mary Kenny, Gerry Donlon and Padraig Kenny. Next draw takes place on Tue 13th and jackpot stands at €12,000.
