Desmond Dolan has been named as the overall winner of Roscommon’s Best Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for MistCalls, an app which aims to manage calls for business users.

Desmond Dolan was also the winner in the Best Business Idea Category with a prize fund of €7,000, Certificate and a trophy. The Runner-Up in the category, was Kyle Flynn, of Heather Fed Fowl. He received a prize fund of €3,000, a Certificate and a Trophy.
Boyle’s Kyle McLoughlin, of SubTeacher.ie was the Winner of the Best Start Up Category. He received a prize fund of €15,000, a Certificate and a trophy. The Runner-Up in the category was Castlerea’s Neil Patrick Collins, of fashion line Cryptic Clique. He received a prize fund of €5,000, a Certificate and a trophy.
The winner of the Best Established Business Category, which had a prize fund of €15,000, a Certificate and a Trophy was Eoghan Kenny, of Project 5 Creations, for BeltLock.ie. The Runner-Up in the category was Brian Larkin, of Centrepoint Autos. He received a prize fund of €5,000, a Certificate and a Trophy.
The Best Young Entrepreneur Award winners will go forward to represent Roscommon in the Regional Finals early next year.
