Roscommon Camogie Board Annual General Meeting

The re-convened A.G.M. of the Roscommon Camogie Board took place on Monday night last in Hannon’s Hotel, Roscommon. The following Officers were elected for the coming year:-
Chairperson – Geraldine Beattie Greene
Vice Chairperson – Belinda Dooley
Secretary Marion Conway
Registrar Caitriona Morris
Development Officer Ger Carr-Mulry
Delegates to Connacht Council Karina Jones & Timmy Dawson

No nominations were received for the position of Treasurer or P.R.O. Nominations have been sent out to the Clubs again and hopefully the positions will be filled at the first Meeting of the new County Board.

Vacancies for County team Managers

Managers for all teams from Under 14 right up to Junior Level are being sought. Of immediate importance is the appointment of a Junior team Manager and a Minor team Manager as both these teams will be taking to fields in Mid February and plans need to be drawn up immediately.

Civic Reception for Minor Team

The Minor team who won the All Ireland Minor final in 2015 are being feted on this Friday, 9th December, 2016 at 2p.m at a Civic reception being organised by Roscommon County Council. The reception is being held in the Arts Centre.

Congratulations

The County Board would like to congratulate the Geraldine Beattie Greene and Joanne Beattie who have been chosen as the Connacht Camogie Administrator and the Connacht Junior Camogie player for 2016 by the Connacht Camogie Council. The Awards will be presented on this coming Friday night, 9th December, by the Chairperson of Connacht Camogie Council, Fiona Hamilton in the Connacht G.A.A. Centre in Bekan, Claremorris at 8.15 p.m.
