We earnestly invite all parents and all who are interested in the continued promotion of Gaelic Games for our boys of all ages up to and including minor to attend.
Presentation Evening
The Underage Committee held a very successful and well attended Presentation Evening for our various underage teams in St Joseph’s Hall on Friday last. The medals were presented by Boyle’s County Senior players Enda and Donie Smith and Sean Purcell and County Minor Committee Chairman Frank Egan, all of them giving appropriate words of encouragement to our young footballers. The MC for the event was the ever capable Tony Conboy. Medals were presented to our Under 8 and Under 10 panels to acknowledge their commitment throughout the year. The U12 panellists were presented with their Division 1 Summer League winners medals, while the U16s were presented with their runners up medals, while the National Automation Limited minors were also presented with medals to acknowledge their efforts. The U14s were presented with awards to acknowledge their Garda Cup (2015) success and Féile participation. Awards were presented to the Feile team management and their partners and to the Féile backroom team. The Underage Committee expresses its deep appreciation of all who sponsored the various aspects of the presentation evening and indeed those who continue to sponsor playing gear and equipment. The gathering was addressed by the Underage Committee Chairman Jim McGrath and Senior Club Chairman Martin Dolan. The Underage Committee made a special presentation to Boyle and Roscommon GAA stalwart Sean Young to acknowledge his lifelong dedication to the coaching of generations of underage Boyle players.
