The remaining Draws for the 2017 Connacht GAA Championships have taken place and have been mainly kind to the Roscommon teams.
The Draws for the Connacht GAA Senior Football Championship took place on RTE a number of weeks ago and Roscommon were drawn to face either London or Leitrim in the Connacht Semi-Final. This will be the first Senior Championship game to be played on the new Hyde Park pitch.
On the other side of the Draw Sligo will get the Connacht Championship underway away to New York on May 7th with the winners facing Mayo in the Quarter-Final. The winners of that game will face defending Champions Galway in the Semi-Final
The Under 21 Connacht Championship will see Roscommon at home to Sligo in the Semi-Final on Wednesday March 22nd in Kiltoom.
The Roscommon Minor Footballers will face either Galway or Mayo in the Connacht Semi-Final on June 28th.
There is also a Connacht Under 17 Football Championship next year and Roscommon will face Leitrim on Sunday June 18th.
The Connacht Junior Football Championship will see Semi-Finals on Wednesday the 3rd of May. Roscommon withdrew from the competition a number of years ago due to the timing clashing with the local Club Championships.
The Connacht Minor Football League will begin on the 11th of March with Roscommon at home to Mayo while the FBD League begins on the 8th of January with Roscommon hosting IT Sligo.
