All-Ireland Club Semi-Final.
All roads lead to Cusack Park, Mullingar on Sunday next when the Senior team take on the current All-Ireland Junior Club champions, Johnstownbridge from Kildare at 2.45 p.m. This is the team that defeated the Club in 2015 but the team has been strengthened this year due to the return from injury of centre-fielder, Laura Fleming and full-forward Niamh Farrell. Hopes are high that the team can go the full way this year.

Minor Championship
The minor team played 2 games during the last week against Four Roads and Padraig Pearses and have been successful in all games to date. They have one more game to play against Roscommon Gaels which is scheduled to take place on this Saturday but the Club have sought a postponement of this game as 7 of the team are on the Senior panel who are playing on Sunday in the All-Ireland semi-final.

Congratulations
There were scenes of great jubilation in the City West Hotel on Saturday night last when senior player Kelley Hopkins (Pictured above, Credit ©INPHO/Ryan Byrne) was selected for a Soaring Star Award for Junior County Players.

This is Kelley’s 2nd award . Her initial award was in 2014.
The Club would also like to congratulate Annette McGeeney who was also nominated for a Soaring Star.

The Club would also like to congratulate Under 16 player Rachel Hamill who was presented with a Business Award in NUI Galway as a result of achieving an A grade in Business in the Junior Certificate.
