Our junior men’s season came to an end at the championship semi-final stage when they were defeated by a youthful Clann Na nGael side. “Goals win games” and that was very much the case here with Clann hitting the net in the opening minute and again in the 21st minute to go in leading at the break by 2-05 to 0-03. Midway thorough the second half Kilbride had cut the Clann lead to just three points but they quickly halted the come back with a third goal. Try as they might Kilbride couldn’t get on terms and lost out on scoreline of 3-08 to 0-14.
