This process will see the wind turbines being put into operation for varying periods over the coming months. Turbine installation commenced at Sliabh Bawn wind farm at the end of July and all 20 turbines have now been fully installed. In addition to the turbines much of the work on the site is now complete. This includes the construction of all the site access roads, the Civil Engineering Works for the Electricity Sub Station and the cabling works from the sub-station to all Turbines. Work on the overhead ESB Networks lines is still ongoing.
