The Roscommon Further Education Centre, which is located at Lisnamult, Roscommon town, is offering free Computer classes on Mondays from 11:30am to 1pm.
Geraldine Raftery of the Roscommon Further Education Centre say that the classes aim to assist attendees in learning basic, day to day internet skills such as setting up and sending emails, using online banking, booking flights etc. The Classes are open to all age groups and will run for 10 weeks or longer for those who might require it.
The Roscommon Further Education Centre is part of Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board. They provides education and training opportunities for adults in the community who wish to take a first step in the rung of the education ladder. Their focus is on meeting the literacy and numeracy needs of adults as well as basic computer classes.
