Our group will consist of Strokestown, Padraig Pearses, Western Gaels and St Dominics. The top two go in to the Semi-Finals. We play Strokestown this Sunday 23rd October at 12 noon in Strokestown. Andrew Grady takes charge of the team this year with Ciaran Hunt and Colin Finneran assisting and we wish Andrew every success in the upcoming Championship.

Minor Hurling

Thanks to all the U-8 and U-10 hurlers who took part in the last blitz of the season in Lisnamult on Saturday last, Many thanks to all the mentors, players and parents who together have worked tirelessly all year and can now enjoy a well-earned break.

Minor Football

St Dominics U-10 footballers completed the season on Sunday 2nd October with the Fr. Killion cup tournament vs Roscommon Gaels. Both teams turned out with 30 plus players consisting of three teams who battled hard in a closely fought and sporting occasion. St.Dominics eventually ran out winners to win back the Fr. Killion cup with the Gaels winning the Fr. Killion plaque. Great credit is due to players and mentors of both teams. There will be many battles to come in the future. This completes a very successful and enjoyable season for the St. Dominics U-10 football panel who won the Oran tournament final, their Clann na Gael tournament final and the Fr. Killion cup. The future is bright for this group of players and for St Dominics if the hard work continues.
