Roscommon LEADER Partnership are hosting the 2016 SICAP Enterprise Awards in the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon tomorrow (Monday) afternoon.

The Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) aims to reduce poverty and promote social inclusion and equality through local, regional and national engagement and collaboration. Its vision is to improve the life chances and opportunities of those who are marginalised in society, living in poverty or in unemployment through community development approaches, targeted supports and inter-agency collaboration, where the values of equality and inclusion are promoted and human rights are respected.

Twelve finalists have been shortlisted and they will showcase their products and services to the public from 4.15 – 5.45pm. The nominees will then attend the Awards Ceremony and the winners will receive their prizes from Cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council Tony Ward. The finalists are as follows:

The overall winner represent Roscommon LEADER Partnership in the West Regional Final.
