The senior team maintained their position on the top of the Premier League after continuing their winning start to the season on Friday night away to Moore United. We went 1 nil down but won the game 2-1 thanks to goals from John Connaughton and Dan Malone.
Ballymoe FC Under 18s 5-2 St Johns Athletic
The U-18 team defeated St. Johns in the Premier Cup quarter-final and will now take on Skyvalley in the semi-final first leg next week. Damien Goggins put Ballymoe ahead with a deft finish but St. Johns then scored two goals in quick succession before Jason Egan equalised before half-time. Jason then scored his second to put us in front before James Egan scored two well taken goals to put a gloss on the result.
