Ladies win again

The fairy tale continues for our Senior ladies who have now quailfied for a Connacht Senior Club Semi Final having beaten St.Nathys of Sligo in the quarter final on Sunday afternoon in Ballinlough . Kilbride 3-9 St. Nathys 0-10. The team now face Leitrim champions Kiltubrid next Saturday in Bornacoola at 4pm.

A big thank you to all those who travelled to support the girls on Sunday both from our owm club and indeed other clubs in Roscommon. We are very appreciative of all the support and hope that you will all travel again next Saturday to cheer on this special team .

Minor Ladies

Minors continue to train hard in preparation for their upcoming final which takes place on Sunday 16th October. Training times will be sent by text as usual to players and everyone is asked to make a special effort to attend.

Minor Men

Well done to our minor’s who have reached their Championship semi-final after defeating Kilglass/St Barry’s in Kilbride on Sunday. Kilbride did It the hard way trailing by 2-4 to 0-2 after 15 minutes but fought back to trail by just two points at the break 3-06 to 2-07. Kilbride with the wind at their backs in the second half told control in all areas and kept their opponents scoreless for the remainder of the match while converting 5-09. Full time; Kilbride 7-16 Kilglass/St Barry’s 3-06.
