Carrick Golf Club Annual Classic cancelled
Unfortunately the Club annual golf classic which was set for last weekend had to be abandoned on Sat morning due to the persistent rain over Friday night Saturday morning it has now be re scheduled for Fri 7, Sat 8 & Sun 9 Oct, this is our major fundraiser of the year and all Members are encouraged to organise a team with golf friends from other clubs. Entry is €160 for team of 4. Book online or by calling the Club.
Arigna Fuels Sponsored Golfer of the Year
The event, on Sunday 18th September, was played as Stableford due to the continued poor weather. Weather conditions didn’t bother Alan Ffrench as he took top prize with 41 points two ahead of Niall Loftus & Anthony Noone who were second & third, Loftus taking runner up spot thanks to a better B9. Somewhat of a surprise in gross winner John Coffey pipped Albert Hogg on the count back all the way to the 18th Coffeys par over Hogg’s bogey was the difference.

Friday 7th Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th – the rescheduled Carrick Golf Annual Classic.
The Hamper Competition will now take place on 14th, 15th, and 16th of October, weather permitting.
