Boyle GAA update September 21st

Boyle GAA
Underage Round-up

The championship season has drawn to an end for some of our underage teams.
Our U14 Division 1 team lost to a stronger St Brigids team in the County Semi-Final on Friday night last. The lads and their management have had a busy season to date, including their Féile adventure. They have the Garda Cup competition starting shortly.

The U12 Division 5 team suffered an agonising 2 point loss to Roscommon Gaels in their Summer League County Final in Castlerea on Saturday last. Thanks to the lads for their commitment throughout the season and to their dedicated management team, and to the many parents who made the trip to their games all year. Some of them are not finished yet as they will be part of the Division 1 squad which is scheduled to meet Roscommon Gaels again this coming weekend. Details will be notified. Parents and supporters are urged to lend their support again this weekend.

Adult Round-up

The Cooney Motors/ Cooney’s Centra Juniors are scheduled to play Strokestown in the Division 4 League on Sunday next at 12 noon in the Abbey Park.

The McGovern Directional Drilling seniors are preparing for their County Semi Final against St Brigids. The game has been confirmed for Strokestown on Sunday week 2nd October at 4pm (Note time change). We encourage all our supporters from far and near to put this date in their diaries.

Congratulations from Boyle GAA

To Tracey McGovern and James Sheridan who got married at the weekend.
To Emer Killilea and her husband on the birth of their second baby son.
