Carrick Golf Club Annual Golf Classic
The Club annual golf classic takes place on this Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th of September. This is our major fundraiser of the year and all Members are encouraged to organise a team with golf friends from other clubs. Entry is €160 for team of 4. Book online or by calling the Club.
Inter Club season ends
We played Tubbercurry on Monday last, 12th September, in the zone final of the Connacht Shield with three matches at home, unfortunately we lost out on the odd game in 5 loosing the deciding match in Tubbercurry on 22nd hole. At Home Gordon Kavanagh & Shane Kelly won 3/2 Maurice Cullen & Albert Hogg won 2/1 David McDermott & Keith Duignan lost 2/1 while away Eamonn McGirl & Liam Bruen lost 5/4 and Sean Bohan & Niall Roche lost on 22nd.
So that brings down the curtain on the inter club season where the success of the Cecil Ewing team was the highlight, winning their third Connacht title.
