Cloonfad United 3-0 Glen Celtic

Cloonfad United made it two wins from two attempts with a hard fought 3-0 over Glen Celtic on Friday night. We took the lead on 43 mins when Andy Glennon drilled in a low cross to the far post and Cian Ruane dashed in to open the scoring. The introduction of Sean Doyle and Darren Duffy in the second half swung the game in Cloonfad’s favour with Duffy supplying crosses for Doyle and Glennon to score. John Noone also blazed a penalty wide when Duffy was fouled.

Cloonfad United B 1-0 Skyvalley Rovers B

Doyle scored the only for the B team on Saturday in their 1-0 Victory versus Skyvalley Rovers B.

Cloonfad United 3-2 Ballaghaderreen

Goals from Darragh Heneghan, Patrick Keadin and Jack Sullivan gave the u14s a 3-2 victory over Ballaghaderreen in their final game of the season. Thanks to Stephen Costello and Ger Fagan for looking after the side all season.

Cloonfad United 3-2 Shiven Rovers

The u12s also finished their campaign on a high with a Darren Keadin hat trick giving his side a 3-2 win over Shiven Rovers.

The Under 13 FAI cup tie v Hodson Bay was not played as our opponents conceded.
