Michael Finneran was ratified as Manager of the Roscommon Ladies Football Intermediate Team as last night’s Meeting of the County Board.
The St Dominic’s Club man will confirm his backroom team later this month.
In other news, Delegates at the Meeting requested that the first Draw in Roscommon Ladies Football Combined Draw be deferred for a number of weeks.
The Draw is the main fundraiser of the year for Roscommon Ladies Football and they have appealed to supporters to get behind the Draw. Tickets are priced at €50 and there is a €500 Prize Fund up for grabs every fortnight. The winner receives €350 and their Club receives €150. Tickets are available from Clubs and Clubs who sell more than 20 tickets will receive 20% of the value of each extra ticket sold.
Monies raised help towards the running costs of the County Board including the cost of food and transport for Inter-county teams.
