The 33rd Tarmonbarry Half Marathon and 8k Run takes place on Sunday, October 9th next at 10:45am. Information and online registration is available on www.runireland.com, and on the St Barrys GFC Facebook page.

St Barry’s U14 girls progressed to the Division 2 Semi-final with a hard fought win over Kilbride in Kilbride tonight. Trailing by 1-8 to 0-3 at halftime, the girls turned things around with a superb second half performance. Two early second half goals from Chloe Rogers turned the game, and St Barry’s were dominating the game in most areas. Kilbride fought back with 1-1 to close the gap to just 2 points with 3 minutes to go,but late scores from Rogers and Shannon McGuinness closed out the game in a good balanced team performance. Final score: St Barrys 5-9 Kilbride 2-9

The girls now play Roscommon Gaels in the Semi-final on October 1st.
The U14 lads drew with Western Gaels on Thursday last, but needed the win to progress to the knock-out stages of the competition.
Fixures
St Barrys/Kilglass U16 Boys play Western Gaels in the D4 Championship Semi-final on Saturday at 5pm.
The U-12 boys will play St Faithleachs in the Division 3 Summer League Shield Final on Saturday the 24th of September at 4pm in Strokestown.
