Delegates at the September Meeting of Roscommon GAA County Board, which concluded a short time ago, were loud in their praise for Fergal O’Donnell and Kevin McStay whose joint management of the Senior Football Team ended last week.
Chairman Seamus Sweeney outlined the timeline for the appointment process of new management and stated that the nomination process would run until 5pm on Wednesday (September) 21st. This was unanimously agreed by all clubs.
Meanwhile, former Roscommon Under 21 Manager Nigel Dineen has formally thrown his hat into the ring for the vacant Senior Team Manager’s Job. Speaking to Shannonside FM the Castlerea Clubman said “I’m a very passionate Roscommon ex-footballer and manager and I have got serious support since I put my name forward from ex-county footballers, from current players and from the clubs.
