Our girls had a busy week last week with St Brigids travelling to Four Roads on Monday evening last and Roscommon Gaels playing the girls on Sunday morning. The girls had mixed fortunes with only a point in the difference at the end of the Brigids game, but the skills, courage and dedication shown throughout the game was impressive. The game showcased all that is good with ladies football and the large support for both sides were treated to a great game of football.
On Sunday morning, the girls played Roscommon Gaels and from the start they stamped their authority on the game. There was lovely passing to be viewed, carrying of the ball, and scores taken. Thanks to all the girls who have put so much effort in during the campaign, and we look forward to seeing them in 2017.

The girls played Western Gaels on Sunday evening last in miserable conditions. The girls recorded a victory and are now due to play in the quarter finals against St Dominics this week.
