Ireland’s leading takeaway app, is encouraging Roscommon people to get voting for their favourite local takeaway in the JUST EAT National Takeaway Awards.

Voting is live at www.just-eat.ie/takeawayawards2016 until the 26th September, with the shortlist of the nation’s favourites to be announced on 30th September.
The Awards recognise the quality of food, choice and service consistently delivered by this important sector of the food services industry. There are over 21 categories this year, and voting is now open for consumers to vote for any take-out restaurant in Ireland, with voters being in with a chance of winning free takeaway for a year!
Speaking today Edel Kinane, Marketing Director, JUST EAT Ireland said:/
“The awards launched just over a week ago and already 2,000 votes have been received. With three weeks left we want to ensure everybody goes online to support their favourites and give them the recognition they deserve.
“The range of takeaway options available to the consumer these days means there really is something for everyone, from dietary requirements to time of day, whether it be lunch or dinner – every taste bud is catered for. As well as the increase in the range on offer we’re also seeing a huge change in the way people are now using takeaway restaurants – traditionally a Friday night treat, takeaways are now often used to cater for a girls night in, a dinner party with friends or, this year, a particularly popular one was catering for Communion celebrations! So get your vote in and ensure your takeaway of choice is recognised.”
Voting
Voting is open for all takeaway restaurants throughout Ireland, closing on September 26th, with a shortlist announcement on September 30th. The shortlist vote will then close on October 10th, with the Awards night taking place on the October 18th in Dublin’s Fallon and Byrne, hosted by Pippa O’Connor Ormond and Brian Dowling.
