Club Colours
Our Senior Ladies will take on Kilbride in the county final on Saturday 17th September at 5pm in Knockcroghery. These days won’t come around forever so please get your club colours out and flying high and show our ladies the huge support that they have.
Junior A Championship
Our Junior A team take on Western Gaels in the quarter finals on Sunday 11th at 2pm in Kilglass. It would be great if as many people as possible would come along and support our lads.
St Brigids GAA Lotto
At the moment we are having an unprecedented run on the lotto jackpot. With the jackpot so high it is a great opportunity to raise vital funds for our club. It is also very easy to sell the lotto when the jackpot is so high. With this in mind we are asking people if they can take some lotto books and try and sell tickets to family, friends and work colleagues. St Brigids lotto can be played in all local shops and pubs, as well as online at stbrigids.gaa.ie. Tickets are only €2 each and this week’s jackpot is €16,800.

Our senior side unfortunately lost out to Roscommon Gaels by a single point in the last game of the group stages of the league on Sunday last in Kiltoom. We will now face Clan na nGael in the league semi final with date and time yet to be decided.

U12 Boys
Both our U12 teams were in action this week beginning with the Division 5 team travelling to Lisnamult on Friday evening for the Summer League Cup semi final against Roscommon Gaels. Unfortunately after a very brave effort when luck was not on our side we lost out to a gallant Gaels side. This ends the season for our Division 5 team, huge credit to all the lads who put in a tremendous effort all year.
On Saturday our Division 1 team played Padraig Pearses in Woodmount in the Summer League Shield semi final, this was a keenly contested game with great scores from both teams and in the end the sides couldn’t be separated with a final scoreline of 3-5 to 3-5

Our minor side are through to the county final the end of October after beating Padraig Pearses, Clan na nGael, Tulsk, Strokestown and St. Dominic’s in the group games of the championship.

Ladies Round-up
Congratulations to the u14 girls team who played two Championship matches during the week , on Wednesday night they bet St Ciarans 7-18 to 1-3 , and on Friday they beat Shannon Gaels 1-10 to 1-1. They now qualify for county quarterfinals , they will face Boyle , time and venue to be decided .
Our Minor girls defeated Four roads on Tuesday night , and their game which was scheduled for Saturday was conceded by Kilglass Gaels.
We are on the count down to the Ladies Senior county final on Saturday September 17th at 5pm in Knockcroghery . We would like to encourage every house in the parish to get out your flags and bunting , to cheer on these ladies , on their quest to win the O’Malley Cup. St Brigids GAA club donated the cup to Roscommon ladies county board in June 2015.
