Independent Councillor Domnick Connolly has criticised the lack of baby changing facilities in Roscommon town.
Councillor Connolly said “I have received a number of complaints from women with small children about a lack of baby changing facilities at some of the major stores in Roscommon Town. I have also learned that there are no baby changing facilities at the new Civic Offices either, which is a disappointment. In many cases women who have very small children are forced to use their own cars for baby changing which is totally unsuitable.
Domnick Connolly concluded by saying “In this day and age the bigger stores and public buildings should have these facilities as a matter of course”.
