It has been a busy week for the Cloonfad United Underage teams.
Underage Round-up
The u16 team played out an exciting 4-4 with Glen Celtic. Jason Meehan , Keevan Murphy , Ibrahim Rahmani and Darragh Heneghan were on target.
Cloonfad Utd wish u16 player Conor Flynn all the best after he was snapped up by Athlone Town for upcoming FAI u17 league. While Conor will a huge loss to our teams it was only a matter of time before his goalscoring feat’s caught the eye of league of Ireland clubs.
Our u14 side lost 6-3 to table toppers Ballinagare. Darragh Heneghan x 2 and Liam Haldane scored Cloonfad’s goals.
The u12 team needing only a draw to secure the division one title suffered a heavy defeat away to St Johns last Tuesday. They play Dunmore in their final game this Tuesday knowing only a win will be good enough to land the championship.
The Under 10 teams finished their campaigns on Friday. Thanks to coaches Mickey, Ryan and Patrick for their efforts all season.
