FAI Chief Executive John Delaney will officially open the new all-weather pitch at Ballymoe FC on Saturday August 27th.
All Ballymoe FC players, past and present, will get a chance to play a game on the new pitch. The activities begin with exhibition games involving the Under 8s and 10s at 12pm. At 1pm it’s the turn of the Under 12s and 14 and at 3pm the past players of the Club will don the Jersey once more.
The official Opening ceremony will be performed at 4pm. The day will round off with the first competitive game at 6pm as Ballymoe FC host Castlerea Celtic in the Roscommon and District Football League Shield.
