Kilbride GAA Lotto

The lotto draw was held in Foxes on Saturday night. There was no winner of the €2,850 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 1,2,6 & 31. The five €20 winners drawn were Sadie Mulryan, Bernard Kearney Snr, Pauline & Damien Kenny, Brendan Rudden & Cliona Reynolds. The next draw will be held on the 6th August when the jackpot will be €3,000.

Under 10 Boys reach Final

Our U10 boys played St Dominic’s in the ‘A’ Final of the Oran Tournament on Sunday in Rockfield. It was the culmination of a very successful tournament. Unfortunately our boys lost to a strong St Dominic’s team by 14 points to 9 but they can be very proud of their performance. a big thanks to Oran GAA club for inviting us to take part in their annual tournament which is the highlight of the year for the U10 boys and management.

Ladies Round-up

Hard luck to Siobhan Tully and the Roscommon Intermediate team who lost their preliminary round match to Wicklow last Saturday.

Best of luck to the Senior ladies who take on Strokestown in round 4 of the championship next Monday 4th August at 8 p.m.in Strokestown.

Hard luck to the U 14s who suffered their first defeat in the summer league last Wednesday when they were defeated by St.Ciarans . Their next outing is at home on Tuesday evening when they take on St.Croans at 7.30.

The U 10 and U 8 team travelled to Castlerea last Tuesday evening and they played two enjoyable games . Training continues every Monday from 7 to 8 . Don’t forget gumshield and a drink.

Minor training continues as usual in preparation for the upcoming championship and all players are asked to make a special effort to attend training.

Congratulations to John Prenty Connacht Provincial Secretary who correctly predicted the score for the Connacht Final winning himself €100. A big thank you to everyone who sold and bought lines for this fundraiser for the ladies club.
