Novel Fundraising event ‘Cresascent 100’ in Boyle on July 31st

Boyle man Enda Madden will continue his build-up to the Cycling Race around Ireland – Irish Ultra Challenge Event (1,100km in 68 hrs) with 100 laps of his home town on Sunday July 31st.

Cyclists of all abilities are welcome to join Enda in Boyle on July 31st and support his chosen charity “Downs Syndrome Ireland”. All participants MUST register on the day and helmets are compulsory. Cyclists Under 18s must be accompanied at all times.

Each lap, 1 to 100, of Boyle town will include an ascent of the Crescent. First lap sets off at 9am with the final lap concluding approx 5pm.

Get involved

– Participants can participate in as many laps as they wish at whatever time suits their day. Each lap is circa 1,500m long with 17m of cumulative ascent. Start / Finish in the Crescent area.

– Cycle a few laps, take a break for refreshments and then cycle a few more.

– Fastest lap competition, details on the day.

– The Pre-Cycle “Sign on” and Post Cycle Refreshments will take place in the Moylurg Inn.

This event, and Enda’s Ultra Challenge, are both in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland, Local Branches. The Entry fee is optional / by donation.

Post Race

Join in the fun later that evening with live music at The Moylurg Inn, and launch night for the Race around Ireland sponsors and crew.
