St Croans Evening at the Races

Tuesday evening 5th July, saw the club hosting a Gala Evening of entertainment at Roscommon Racecourse. It turned out as promised to be a great evening with something for everyone from the racing to the final of the ‘Reach for the Stars’ talent show. The talent show was a joint event between the club and Ballintubber Tidy Towns & Heritage and received great support over the last few weeks with the qualifying heats taking place locally. The final on Tuesday evening did not disappoint with Arlene Feehily, Ballintubber emerging as the overall winner. The other finalists performing on the night were Joe Grady, Gabriel Dolan, Mary Murray, Carmel Leech, Aileen Holland, Alice Mannion.
The club would like to sincerely thank Roscommon Racecourse, the sponsors, organisers and of course our local community for all their generous efforts and support. We would also like to thank Kenny’s Ballintubber, Eileen’s Ballymoe, Jackie’s Ballymoe and Garvey’s Ballintubber for hosting the four heats leading up to the final.
