St Faithleachs

St Faithleachs GAA weekly update July 11th

St Faithleachs
St Faithleachs says thanks

The Club would like to express their thanks to each and everyone who supported our fundraising events over the weekend. Our Lip Sync Battle was a fantastic show and the commitment and energy that every act put into it not just on the night but over the course of the last few weeks was phenomenal. To our sponsors on the night; Lagan, Innis Ree Lodge, McGowan Metal Fabrication, Roscommon Mart, McNultys Furniture, Longford Cash and Carry Furniture, Hussey Heating and Plumbing, and Clarke’s Bar your generous support was very much appreciated. There are many people who we would like to thank ; our stewards and our ever hard working club members who helped out over the course of the weekend to make sure everything ran smoothly, to Lanesboro Triathlon Club who gave their time and expertise, bar staff, door staff, vote counters, clean up crew, electrical crew, the girls who did hair and makeup, all those who made countless cups of tea and coffee, sandwiches and food. The spirit and community effort from all was truly overwhelming and great to see. Each and every act was a pleasure to deal with and winners in our eyes.
To our judges Fr.John. McManus, Maura McCormack, Jimmy Flanagan and Bernie Cotter , our M.C. and the crew from StageServ Martin and Cecil, you did a wonderful job. To Declan Nerney and his band for a great night dancing and for taking the time to meet his fans and club members.
Finally we would like to acknowledge all the hard work and effort that the committee members put into the weekend and we hope that everyone had a great weekend. We are already looking forward to the DVD screening night which will be arranged soon.
