The club hosted a triple header on Sunday last with the Michael Glaveys Senior Men, Under 12 Boys and Under 12 Girls all in action.

The first game of the day started with the Senior team welcoming Kilbride in the O’Gara Cup. Despite missing numerous players they led at 1-9 to 0-6 at half time. Glaveys then took charge of the second half running out big winners on a scoreline of Michael Glaveys 5-15 Kilbride 1-9.

The U12 girls team who played Four Roads in the championship semi-final who also were victorious also. The final is provisionally fixed for next weekend,check fixtures for details.

Finally, the u12 boys defeated St Barrys on a scoreline of Michael Glaveys 5-9 St Barrys 3-3 to top off a winning triple header in Ballinlough. They play St Faithleachs on Saturday next in Ballyleague at 12 noon.

St Croans B 1-13 Michael Glaveys B 1-10

Hard luck to the Junior team who were defeated by St Croans B in the Junior B Championship on Friday evening last on a scoreline of . Team- Rory Mannion, Fergal Coyle, Liam Cregg, Conor Hagney, Evan Coyne, Daryl Geraghty, Liam Coll, Sean McGuire (0-1), Joe Gorman (0-3), Gerry Cunningham (0-4), Martin Nevin (0-2), Jason Brennan (1-3), Ryan Merchant, Michael Walsh, Gerard Browne.

Theyteam play Fuerty on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. in Fuerty in the Division 5 league.

Underage Round-up

The U16’s had a great win over St Croans on a scoreline of 4-15 to 2-3 on Saturday evening.

The U14 team also beat St Brigids on Thursday last on a scoreline of 3-16 to 5-4. The U14 team play Tulsk on Thursday evening in Ballinlough at 7:30 p.m. in the division 4 championship.

The minor team start their championship campaign on Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. against Western Gaels in Ballinlough.

County Players

Good luck to Darren, Gary and the Roscommon Senior team against Galway in the Connacht Senior Final on Sunday. Hard luck to Liam Cregg, Cathal Heneghan, Dylan Ruane and Cian Ruane on their defeat to Galway in the Connacht Minor Semi Final last Wednesday.

The Junior Girls team defeated Castlerea in round 2 of the Junior Championship on Saturday evening last.
