The Roscommon leg of National Play Day takes place this Sunday, July 3rd, in Lough Key Forest Park, Boyle from 2–6pm.
The aim of National Play Day is to help increase public awareness of the importance of play in supporting children’s physical and social development.
Families are encouraged to come along and enjoy the wide range of activities available on the day – there is something for everyone. Activities include the Lough Key Adventure Kingdom, Parachute Games, Hip Hop Dancing, Soccer, a Balloon Race, Irish Dancing Demonstration, Storytelling and Face Painting. The Big Blue Play Bus will also make an appearance and Castlerea Inflatables will have items throughout Lough Key Forest Park.
Parents / Guardians are reminded that Children must be supervised at all times.
The Nominated Charity for the day is The Children’s Medical Research Foundation, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin.
