Well done to Conor Shanagher and the Roscommon minor team who defeated Sligo on Saturday in the Connacht minor championship quarter-final.

Our men’s junior league fixture against Roscommon Gaels was postponed on Sunday. They will now play the Gael’s on Friday at 8pm in Lisnamult in the championship when the league points will also be up for grabs.

Kilbride 8-10 Boyle 2-6

Our U16 team had an impressive win against Boyle in Kilbride on Sunday. Team C Feely; J O’Connor; D Carroll; S McLoughlin; R Cunningham; A Looby; R O’Beirne; A Shanagher; J Keegan; A Merriman; S O’Beirne; Subs D Cronin; W Tully; E Bracken.
Their next fixture is at home to Elphin/Ballinameen on Saturday at 7.30pm.

Kilbride 6-15 Kilglass Gaels-St Barrys 2-7

Our U14 boys also recorded an excellent win away to Kilglass/St Barry’s on Thursday – . They will play St Faithleach’s in Kilbride on Thursday at 7.30pm in Kilbride.

Under 10s

Our u10 boys played some fine football at the recent county blitz in St Faithleach’s where they enjoyed all four games, thanks to St. Faithleach’s for the day. Well done to The Team on qualifing for the A final of the Oran tournament again this year, the finals are on sunday 17th July.

Ladies Round-up

Huge congrats to our U 12 girls who had a comprehensive victory over St Brigids B in their quarter final in Kilbride on Sunday evening . The girls are now assured of being involved in the U 12 finals day on 9th July . Their semi final takes place next Sunday evening away to Ballinameen at 6 p.m. A win will earn them a place in the Division 3 A final whereas a loss will see them contest the B final . Best of luck in the semi girls. Wishing Katelyn a speedy recovery from her ankle injury .

The Under 14 team begin the summer league on Wednesday with a home game against Oran at 6.15. Good luck to all.

It is hoped to commence minor training this week and players will be texted with details.

Our senior girls had no game at the weekend following the surprise withdrawal of Eire Og from the championship. They play St Lomans in a challenge match this evening (Tuesday) in Mullingar. They then face Clan na nGael next Saturday in Johnstown so best of luck to everyone.

Training continues every Monday from 7 to 8 for our U 10’s, 8’s and 6’s. Don’t forget drinks and gumshields.
