The R294 in Boyle, better known as the Old Carrick Road, has just reopened following a serious Car accident.
The incident took place at approximately 7pm, close to the junction with the N4 at Kilbryan. Local Gardai and Fire Services attended the scene and the driver of the Car was transferred to Sligo University Hospital.
An investigation of the scene took place and anyone who may have been in the area at the time is asked to contact Gardai in Boyle.
