This week’s Roscommon Sport Weekend preview features Camogie, Darts, Gaelic Football, Golf, Hurling and Soccer.

Here is goes, in no particular order.

Soccer

There are two games in the Roscommon and District League Masters Competition this evening and one Semi-Final spot up for grabs. Details here.

Athlone Town Supporters Trust are hosting an open meeting tomorrow (Sunday) at 4pm in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel, Athlone.

Golf

Boyle host Tubbercurry in the North Zone Final with 3 matches at home from 3pm. On Sunday Tish Perry host her Lady Captain’s Prize. Online booking is available and a window from 1pm – 3.40pm is open to gents.

Carrick Golf Club are hosting an 18 hole Stableford instead of their Club Classic. Play is open today and tomorrow (Sunday 26th).

Gaelic Football

The Roscommon Minor Team take on Sligo in the Connacht Quarter-Final this evening at 7pm. Team news here

There are also a number of games on the Club scene this weekend.

The Boyle Under 14s are representing Roscommon in the All-Ireland Feile this weekend in Cork.

Darts

Ballinaheglish’s Thomas Concannon features on the Republic of Ireland Team in the Six Nations Darts tournament, which is taking place in The Great Southern Hotel, Sligo.

Camogie

Roscommon are away to Westmeath in Round Two of the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Premier Junior Championship at 2:30pm in The Downs GAA Club.

Hurling

Four Roads are bidding for their 9th Kepak Senior Hurling Championship title in a row and begin the quest tomorrow. Who do you think will win? Vote in our Poll and view the fixtures here.
