The senior team were defeated by Roscommon Gaels in round two of the championship in O’Rourke Park last Sunday.
A big thank you to the stewards, caterers, scoreboard keepers and everyone else who worked so hard in O’Rourke Park in difficult weather conditions last Sunday. Thanks to Castlerea Celtic and Castlerea Mart for the use of their facilities last Sunday.
Fixtures
The junior team play Strokestown next Saturday in the junior championship in Elphin at 2pm.
The ladies junior team play St Mary’s in Tulsk next Saturday at 7pm in the junior championship. Check gaaroscommon.ie, Aertel page 452 or local press for all fixtures and results.
Castlerea St Kevins Lucky Numbers
There was no winner of the €16,400 lucky numbers jackpot on Friday 17th June; numbers drawn on the night were 3, 28, 32 and 36. €50 winners on the night were Jackie Kelly, Des Egan, Gerry Flanagan and Una Keigher Kelly. Next weeks jackpot is €16,500 and the draw takes place in The Cosy Bar on Friday 24th June. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or from any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5.
