Camogie
The Roscommon Under 14 Camogie Team finished runners up to Galway in the Connacht Blitz.
Cycling
Daire Feeley retained the Donamon Dynamos Grand Prix title on Sunday afternoon.
Darts
Derry’s Daryl Gurney retained the Elphin Open title. Best of the Roscommon players was Damien McGovern reaching the Quarter-Finals, with Gary Concannon reaching the last 16.
Gaelic Football
Roscommon booked a place in the Connacht Senior Football Championship Final following a second-half fight back. Read our Match Report here
On the Club scene, there were wins for Elphin B, Michael Glaveys B, St Croans B and Roscommon Gaels B in the Junior B Football Championship. Full round-up of results from the past week here.
Handball
The Annual Mount Talbot One Wall Handball Competition was held over the weekend and proved to be very enjoyable and successful. Results to follow
Hurling
It was announced that the Connacht Intermediate Hurling Final between Roscommon and Mayo, which was due to take place next Saturday, has been postponed.
Ladies Gaelic
The County Under 14 Ladies Footballers dreams of reaching an All-Ireland Final were dashed by Tipperary. Read Anne Marie O’Dowd’s Match Report here
Rugby
Roscommon’s Shane Leyden was part of the Irish Mens 7s team which won the European Rugby Trophy, defeating Sweden in the Final.
Soccer
In the Roscommon and District Masters League, sponsored by Umbro, Dunmore Town defeated Skyvalley Rovers 2-0 and St Comans defeated CB Trotters 4-1. Shiven Rovers and Glen Celtic played out a 1-1 Draw.
