Our Junior A team recorded a one point victory over St. Aidan’s on a sun filled Saturday evening in Ballyforan. The heat must have affected our lads as they had a very slow start with Aidan’s recording 2-5 to a single point in the first ten minutes. Once we acclimatised we steadily started to regain ground and managed to go in at half time just two points down 2-8 to 2-10. This was thanks to goals from Jack McDonnell and Davy Cunniffe as well as points from Jack and Adrian Gleeson. The second half was a point for point affair with both teams digging deep. A goal from Conor Quinn cushioned a nice lead for us but an Aidan’s penalty brought them to within a point of us with little time left to play. However, we managed to hold on to our single point lead.

Senior Ladies League
Our senior ladies game against Eire Og that was scheduled for Bank holiday Sunday, has being postponed until after the leaving certificate.
